History

In 1923, a nucleus of dedicated alumni established the first support group for the University of Southern California.   They became know as the Trojan Club, and its purpose was to provide spiritual, moral, and monetary support to and for the athletic program of the University.   The Trojan Club today is an athletic support group for alumni and others who are sincerely interested in "perpetuating USC's athletic greatness."

The Trojan Club of San Diego was organized in 1974 as focal point for the activities of alumni and friends living in the area and is committed to the support of the University of Southern California, and its Athletic Department, through monetary support, outstanding and relevant programs, manpower services, and events.
